Welcome to HabitFlow. By downloading, installing or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HabitFlow, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, you have read and understood these Terms of Use and you agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
2. About HabitFlow
HabitFlow is a habit tracking app developed and owned by Rishvi Ltd. The app allows users to create and track daily habits, view streaks and analytics, log moods and journal entries, set habit reminders, archive and manage habits and track quantitative goals such as water intake, distance and reading pages.
3. User Responsibilities
By using HabitFlow, you agree to:
- Use the app only for lawful and personal purposes
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or modify any part of the app
- Not use the app in any way that could damage, disable or impair its functionality
- Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the app or its systems
- Take full responsibility for all data you create, store and manage within the app
4. Data Storage and Ownership
HabitFlow uses Hive, a lightweight offline NoSQL database, to store all your data directly on your device. Here is how data is managed:
- All habits, streaks, journal entries and settings are stored locally in Hive boxes on your device
- No data is transmitted to any external server or cloud storage
- The app works fully offline and does not require an internet connection
- You own all the data you create within HabitFlow
- Rishvi Ltd does not have access to any of your personal habit data
- You are solely responsible for managing, backing up and protecting your own data
- Uninstalling the app or using Clear All Data in Settings will permanently remove all stored data from your device
5. Push Notifications
HabitFlow may send push notifications for habit reminders if you enable this feature. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings or within the app under Settings. Rishvi Ltd is not responsible for missed habits or reminders due to notification settings, device restrictions or operating system limitations.
6. Export and Import Feature
HabitFlow provides an export feature that allows you to save your complete data as a JSON file for personal backup. You are responsible for the security and storage of any exported files. Rishvi Ltd is not responsible for data loss resulting from corrupted, lost or improperly imported backup files.
7. Intellectual Property
All content within HabitFlow including but not limited to the app design, icons, graphics, animations, code and branding is owned by Rishvi Ltd and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any part of the app without prior written consent from Rishvi Ltd.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
HabitFlow is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Rishvi Ltd does not warrant that:
- The app will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of bugs at all times
- Streak and analytics calculations will always be accurate in all edge cases
- The app will meet your specific requirements or expectations
- Any lost or deleted data will be recoverable
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rishvi Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to loss of habit data, loss of streaks, loss of journal entries, device failure or any other data loss. Since all data is stored locally on your device, Rishvi Ltd has no control over and accepts no responsibility for data loss caused by device issues, app uninstallation or storage failures.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
HabitFlow may contain links to third-party websites or services such as the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or terms of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
11. Changes to Terms
Rishvi Ltd reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. When we make changes we will update the Effective Date and notify you through the app. Your continued use of HabitFlow after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms of Use.
12. Termination
Rishvi Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to HabitFlow at any time if these Terms of Use are violated or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your locally stored data on your device will remain accessible until you uninstall the app.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
